EMCLABORATORY ACTIVITIES

This laboratory supports enterprises to get the CE certification for electronic and electromechanical products, notably:

· Identification of product standards in conformity with EC Directives
· Support on design for conformity with EMC Directive, Low Tension Directive and Machinery Directive
· Pre-compliance testing
· Issue of Test Reports
· Issue of the technical file for machinery under certification
· Support at approved laboratories for compliance tests
· Support at approval Bodies (PT, automotive and electro-medical approvals)

ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY LABORATORY

The EMC laboratory is specialized in the following Directives:

Radio Equipment and Telecommunication Terminals (99/5/EC)
Minimum Health and Safety Requirements for Workers Exposure to EM Fields (2004/40/EC)

Since 1994 the Laboratory issues about one hundred Test Reports and Technical Files per year, concerning machine tools, activations, electrical appliances, industrial equipments testing, telecommunication equipment, electronic devices for motor vehicles and electro-medical sector.
In addition to the above-mentioned activities, the Laboratory may perform:

· Measurements of acoustic noise level emitted by machines
· Measurements of acoustic noise exposure
· Anti-static assessments
· Preliminary assessments of human exposure to electromagnetic fields
